About Caden
Hi! I’m Caden and I was born and raised in Hong Kong, but I have been studying in the UK for the past 6 years. I’m currently a student at Imperial College London studying an Msci Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry degree, which means that on top of all this pure science, I get to learn about how drugs work and how we find new and more effective medicine. Outside my degree I’ve continued to learn Spanish (from GCSEs) and have just completed a B2 level course! At other times, you will probably find me somewhere near the theatre or union building helping out with some tech and backstage since the crew side of DramSoc at Imperial can get quite busy! And although I’m not very good at it, I also quite enjoy playing squash with friends every week.

About Jamie
Hey, my name is Jamie. I was born in Cambridge and lived in Hertfordshire all my life. I’m 18 and I’m about to finish my first year studying Chemistry at Imperial College London. I sat my A levels last year and having been awarded 4 A*s, I can definitely say I learnt a lot about effective study methods and exam technique. Having been through GCSEs and A levels relatively recently, I can explain any challenging concepts well and show the best strategies for answering the trickiest questions. I genuinely enjoy Chemistry and I feel like I can really help strengthen understanding and improve exam results. Outside of academics, I enjoy watching all kinds of sport and have recently begun honing my boxing skills..

About Sara
I am a first year Biochemistry student at Imperial College London, offering tutoring in Biology and Chemistry. I have a strong academic foundation having completed the International Baccalaureate, scoring 7 out of 7 in both higher level Biology and Chemistry and a 6 in higher level Mathematics (Analysis and Approaches).
I have prior tutoring experience at multiple levels and bring an outgoing, friendly, and approachable attitude to every session. I’m friendly, patient, and easy to talk to and strive to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions.
Outside of academics, I have been singing and playing guitar for most of my life and have a strong interest in politics and world affairs, trying to remain a well rounded individual.

ABOUT MAYA
Hi, I’m Maya. I’m a Linguistics student at the University of Leeds with three years of tutoring experience. I achieved 11 grade 9s at GCSE, and straight As in A level Chemistry, Maths, and French. While I have always enjoyed the subjects I tutor, the most rewarding part of my academic journey has been learning how to tackle the subjects I found challenging, and that’s what drives my current tutoring approach.
Outside of academics, I love learning languages (I’m currently working on Greek and Italian) and playing netball. Above all, I’m firm believer in the benefit of good work-life balance and I focus on building study habits around the more exciting parts of life.

ABOUT CALEB
Hi, my name is Caleb, and I’m a medical student at Barts and The London School of Medicine. I achieved A*A*A in Maths, Chemistry, and Biology at A-Levels, and seven Grade 9s at GCSE (including in Maths, English Language and Literature, and all three Sciences).
I have been tutoring for the past four years and have worked with many students across different ages and abilities. Many of my students have made significant improvements in grades and confidence, and I’ve really enjoyed being part of their journeys. I pride myself on tailoring my lessons to each student’s individual needs - whether that means covering tricky content in depth, sharpening exam technique, or advising on how to revise more effectively. I know that Maths, Biology, and Chemistry can seem daunting at first, but with the right approach and practice, I believe anyone can make progress and succeed.
As a tutor, I am friendly, patient, and approachable. I understand that no two students learn in the same way, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each person. I always encourage questions, explain concepts clearly, and aim to create a positive environment where students feel supported and motivated. I’m particularly strong at helping students tackle challenging questions and breaking them down into manageable steps, which builds confidence as well as understanding.
Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing tennis, following F1, and I’m a big fan of movies.
If you’re looking for a tutor who does not only explain the content, but also helps you to develop the skills and confidence to achieve your goals, I’d love to help you succeed.
